Making the Priest

With the correct intentionality, commitment, and environment Black children will find their voice; early. Their ability to harness a tool, their spark, and charisma comes from the love, bond, and security that family can bring. Black family development is the most resistant behavior in a society that never intended for its existence. Our children health and confidence are a direct result.

Observing Priest’s music, talent, voice, and outlook on the world is hopeful. Its inspiring. It is reassuring. Anytime we witness greatness of the child, we look at the parents and just applaud. I salute his mother and father for providing such a powerful artistic and spiritual commitment to the expression of Black family making.
