Winwood District

It’s been years since I been in this area. Once apart of Overtown, Winwood gentrification process has been the occupation of artistic take over and Cuban ownership. Demographically, the artistic contribution to these murals cover ideas and framework of Haitians, Caribbean, Cubans, African Americans, Jamaicans all fused in this philosophical expressionism of modernity. It teaches me so much about what I missed after moving away from here.

Needless to say, this is a photographers heaven. Impressive!!!
